LadnDad's cardmodels from the movie...
Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines
12 delightful cardmodels of the planes from the movie: "The Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines." Designed and copyrighted by Jim and Keith Fainges designing as Lad'n Dad. The Cd is downloadable and will be mailed to you, anywhere in the world, postpaid. It is not being offered as a magic key model, sorry. They have quite a few more already finished. All quite interesting.
PS: The Baby Avro bonus model (right) will be
included, of course Every once in a while, the plastic TMMITFM plastic models are available on e-bay. As the paper models and the plastic kits are 1/48, it would be interesting to use the card models as plans to build the planes notavailable as plastic kits, using styrene strip and tissue paper. 1/48 is a good size plane, the same scale as the Aurora WWI planes sold in the '50s and '60s.- George Stahlberg Thanks, Chip, have just downloaded them. What charmers! Jim Algar Hey - these Magnificint Men models are incredible!! What an outstanding set of designs of some really challenging subjects. I am going to have to locate a large supply of very thin wire and try them out. Thanks very much. Robert Tauxe, Atlanta Aaron, Chip emailed my husband with the URL. He loves the models :-) Thank you very much! Kris Just received your delightful MAGMEN-CD, which seems to be the best thing you ever offered. My fingers are itching - this should keep me busy for quite a while. Thought starter: some of these models just cry to be built as RC-foamies. If only I could retire from work, but I still have to wait for ten years.Keep up the nice work and many thanks. Michael Thank you for the speedy response. These are beauties. I will try to make Baby..Avro fly on a rubber motor. Dennis The Baby Avro is a lovely plane. A first I think in papermodel (?). I already printed the little bugger…The Antoinette must be a bummer to assemble (Frankly, I prefer David's Antoinette and Demoiselle). The Blackburn is very nice and challenging! The Bleriot is the most convincing Bleriot I have seen in papermodel. Superb color! Phillips's Multiplane makes one happy that the industry took another path…Great drawings and instructions... Very professionnal! Extremely happy with the content of the CD. bye for now. Jacques de Quebec |
