I can't help but think that when the name of a new registered member is posted on the forum page, you are doing exactly what the porn and pill peddlers want ----- getting their name and web address out to the public.

I haven't seen a name that seems to be a "real" new forum member in a while, but LOTS of bad ones. (Like today)

How about not listing new members until they have been cleared.

Which are you talking about? The only place new members names are posted is in the Welcome Wagon forum, and those are legitimate members, after we have activated them.

The only other place I can think of is in the "who is online" box where is says who is the "newest registered user". We can't control that. It is part of the core program of the forum and does that automatically.

Yep. Who's On Line. Newest Registered Member. The newest one right now sells furniture, which is better than porn or fake viagra.

If this info is displayed by the core program, the program needs to be fixed. This sounds like a programmer who can't admit he made a mistake.

What if the newest member is a major peddler of kiddie porn. Do you want his web site posted anywhere near our forum.

sorry guys...i try to keep the membership list pretty clean...but i been kinda busy doin a bathroom remodelin job for my honeydew...some things have their priorty ya know....ill try to get it cleaned up today...but i know it wont last5 long.....
