Has anyone heard from Aaron? He's in Joplin, MO. Joplin basicly doesn't exist any more.

I messaged with him on facebook. He's okay. Apparently, the funnel dropped right above his place, and touched down about a block away. Yikes! I know he said power is out and his phone was close to dying. It'll be a while before we hear from him I'd think. But, he's okay right now.

Glad to hear it. It will take days just to figure out how to go about doing anything there. I'm amazed the body count isn't much higher than they've released so far.

Just got another update on Aaron. He is doing okay given the situation. He did mention seeing a sheriff's truck that's from my town. Way up in Nebraska. how funny!

Finally got internet back. Now I need my WalMart back. Has anybody seen it? It probably landed in Michigan somewhere.

There are (were) two Walmarts in town. The closest one that I passed by every day on the way home from work took a direct hit from the tornado, along with the Home Depot, Academy Outdoors and a bunch of other businesses. The other one is clear on the other side of town What really sucks is both Arby's in town got destroyed. And they had the ArbyQ. I finally find a Long John Silvers I can get to, and it gets wiped out.

I still get shocked when I pass through the damaged areas. It's unreal.

Hey Azguy,,,
I'm so glad that you were not hurt.
Hope you, and your loved ones, and your friends can recover from
this disaster.
Know that more folks out here in the paper modeling community
are praying for you than you might think.
Keep the faith and God Bless you.

Recovering ok so far. My laptop died, so I've been offline for a while. I also finally got a job at the Motel where I live, as a desk clerk. It doesn't pay too well, but since I don't have to pay rent anymore, I'm ok with it. As soon as I get my laptop back, I can get back to designing (can't wait).
