Fiddlers Green

Who says building them to really fly can't include the computer?

Okay, so I'm going to be using someone else's planes and fly them on my computer, but after looking at the Microsoft Flight Simulator X web site

I cannot wait for this to come out. I had to build the Piper Cub for my father-in-law to play with along side his Cub in FS9 (2004), and I'm sure he's going to demand someone that I either put some FG models in FS, or somehow create an FG 747-400.

I'm hoping for the former, because even at WSAM I'd run out of paper and glue!

FS X is gonna be awesome, those graphics look absolutely amazing.

Hmmm a 747 model in paper? That would be quite a feat and absolutely brilliant if made, probably a big seller as well... Sarge, you've got a job to do.

Sarge - What do you think brought me to fiddler's green? Just the "information" on the FG models' is a flightsim modeller's paradise.

I still fly around in my FG textured Weddell-Williams racer, and the I'm strill struggling with the Renard R-17 (okay, so the engine really is cobbled up from a PW Junior cylinder, but if you don't tell, I won't either.

The next task is working on the VC.

Love, love, love FS X! The best christmas present ever. I logged 12 flight hours in the first 2 days I had it. I thought I would wear out the joystick. Beautiful piece of software. Now I just need to get some add ons.

It's motivating me to upgrade to a 512MB video card from a 256MB, just so I can blast my resolution up to the max!
