For the 'way too clever Germans, the Me-321 Gigant Glider wasn’t as hard to design and build as it was to get into the luft. Engines !!- lots of them- were the final answer and with that the glider evolved into the powered Me-323.

Derided as an "adhesive tape bomber," it became a near satisfactory combat cargo plane and one of the largest and most bizarre air spectacles in World War II. Correct me if I’m wrong, but at 56 inches (!) this must be just about the largest wingspan of any freestanding AC cardmodel.

Is the Giant really supposed to be in our "my models" area now? All I"m seeing is the web page link; and my magic key is up to date.

HOW could you miss it???? This thing is bigger than some of my R/C models. Should be interesting, to say the least! Thanks to FG & all the beta builders for this.
Later,
Fred Z.
