Great idea Possm. I just used 3 full sticks of hot glue in the nose of my B-29.

Hey, Possum,

Haven't you ever seen an old battery swell up, rupture, and leak nasty goo all over the place? The best place for old batteries is in the trash or at some place that collects that kind of junk.

Use rocks or fishing sinkers or scraps of plastic sprue from old plastic kits or something else that's inert.

Bob the blueeyedbear

[I learned about leaky dead batteries the some D-cells ruined by only flashlight when I was a kid.]

BB's. Fix 'em with white glue.

How do you use BB's? Most are bigger than your models. :P

On a related note, I just aquired 2 full boxes of lead musket balls that my Dad was getting ready to throw away because the gun that used them is no longer fireable (barrel cracked ) So my nose weight issues have been taken care of for a while.

Poppy seeds? Gonna use large bore cannons on your ships? I figured dust mites would work better :P

Me, I use .177 cal airgun pellets. Fits down the fuselage of a 1/144 Mig-21 just perfect!
