What's the best program to use for designing models? Also, how do I upload pages of other models to a software so I can edit them? If you're completely confused as to WHY ON EARTH I would want to do that, see my post about my custom WWII Assault Gun model that was made from a Panzer.
Help me out, Person-Who-Can-Help-Me-Design-A-Model-And-Possibly-Publish-It, whoever you are? Chip? Maybe?

As far as editing existing models, I like Adobe Photoshop. It's a bit spendy, but a great program. Plus, Rob ( a wonderful FG designer) did a great tutorial on repainting FG models with Photoshop. There is also a free program called GIMP. It's very similar to Photoshop.

For actual computer modeling of subjects to turn them into paper, I know a lot of guys use Rhino 3D, Blender, and Google Sketch-Up. I have no clue how to use said programs, so I stick to repaints.
