I'm building all the Western set that is in the layout. But I find two locations that do not have matching Western buildings: the bank and the school. Am I somehow missing something? Can anyone recommend a replacement building? For now, I am looking at the English building set and thinking of using the Antique Shop with the signs changed for the Bank and the school there.

Does anyone know what Chip had intended for those two places?

The bank and school should both be available, perhaps individually if not included in the set. The bank is the "Merchants Bank" and the school is a red brick schoolhouse.

Thanks much for your reply.

Still I can find neither model you speak to. I have purchased and downloaded the entire building collection and can't find them there. I scan the building page on line and neither is there. Could these be discontinued models? Or am I just blind?

I'm also working on the western layout. I can't find those two buildings either. I will keep looking and if I come across anything I'll let you know.

Hi Guys,
I have the buildings you mentioned.
They are in the F.G. Buildings DVD.
Then go to Western Boomtown in the DVD.
Then go under PDFs section.
All the buildings are there.
They are also in the Z scale section as well.
Hope this helps you find them in your DVD.
Best Regards,
Musicman
PS. the School house is red boards, not brick.

Unfortunately, I bought the Buildings collection after Chip discontinued shipping DVDs.

How might we go about getting Scott Fyn to add the Merchant Bank and the Red Schoolhouse to the online collection?

Thanks again to all who have replied. My hopes are up that I might be able to get the intended buildings.

Just wondering which scale you and Abby are building the Western town layout in.
Is it HO,,, N,,, or Z scale.
The buildings come in all three sizes.

Thanks again musicman for moving the bank forward.

As to scale, I'm building in N as the layout is only available in N. Then again, I could scale it up, but I want to keep it small. My fingers are too big for fine detail on Z scale.

Looking forward to seeing the school show up in My Models Folder.
