I cant seem to attach my avatar....it is the same one i had before.....it keeps telling me its too large....how can i downsize it???????help!!!!!!!!

I resize mine in windows paint. The size of it depends on the quality (DPI) of the actual image, the lower the DPI, the bigger the image can be without worrying about that d**n 6K barrier.

I've hacked my avatar down to 3K & it still doesn't show up as anything but that damned red X. It's 150 by 99 pixels, so what's wrong?!?! Is there a special flavor of jpg it has to be?

Mark, how are you displaying your avatar? I remember someone else had that problem. Try using the "Link to off-site Avatar:" function. Basically store your chosen picture on say photobucket and link to the forum.
