Where are y'all getting good-quality, low price (see "free") 3-view drawings from?

Thanks.

While I was out looking, I came upon this site...

http://richard.ferriere.free.fr/3vues/3vues.html

I picked up a lot of pictures off of there that really got the old noggin' pounding...

I more or less keep this page maintained with *my* favorite plan sites.

Every so often I recheck the links.

Howzit

Here's a couple of sites I use

http://www.airwar.ru/other/drawe.html

http://hawker.smugmug.com/Hobbies/15578

There's also a russian site I use, I can't remember the link at the moment but I'll post it later when I'm at home.

I usually make Internet searches by simply typing the name of the plane under the "images" tab ... if you do as mentioned before, with "left view" added in the search, you are limiting yourself to those plans posted with such names, but many times people just post blueprints under names like "beaver1.gif" fore the top view, "beaver2.gif" for the left view, ect ...
Good luck! :)

Hey,
Do you guys know of any sites that have colored three views?
I'm looking for a British Avenger and a early war Hellcat, with the red piping around the insingia.

Books, too. I have friends with large collections of aviation books, who are willing to share. If you know anyone with a NMAA (I think that's right--the radio control national org)--they have access to plan archives.

Hello all,

I am new here, though I have been making paper and card models since 1972 !

I have ( on the shelf and as .pdf files ) MANY books and booklets about aircraft, along with some about warships and also some about military vehicles and weapons. :D

For those modellers wanting colour images in particular - much of the reference material I have includes colour artwork.

If you have searched online and drawn a blank - it might be worth asking me if I can find something to help you.

Happy modelling,

Keven. :)
