The Beech is beautiful! It has inspired me to force myself to make time to work on models.
I am in the process of doing the military versions of the Staggerwing, the Army UC-43 Traveler and the Navy GB-1.
If my motivation holds up there is also a nice RAF scheme I may do.

What’s up with the Paper Modeling Convention this year?

Hi Rob,

Yes! I'd love to see what photos you have of the GB-1. The photos I have now are of a GB-1 in a tri-color scheme with the late war national insignia. The 1942 scheme sounds interesting.

I should have the Army UC-43 done this weekend. It is the Traveler on display at the Air Force Museum in Dayton.

Is that an F-105 I see in your avatar? Very nice.

I couldn't be more thrilled than presently about the Beech, John your models have been an inspiration to me, and probably all of us. That particular plane has been fun from the start. I hope everybody finds it a fun build :D

Thanks for the kind words. I just printed out the finished Army version. Once it is together I'll have a better idea how to layout the tri-color Navy version. The Army scheme was pretty straight forward, overall olive drab. I'll take pictures as soon as it is built.
