FG is setting up a Wiki for Aircraft History and would like your help to write articles and set up the site.

We need people who love aircraft and perferably have a lot of books and resources on the topic available to them. You would need to write origional articles for publishing on the site.

Don't know what a Wiki is?
It is a site maintained and supported by anyone who wants to. It's a community effort.

If you want to know more, do a google search and you'll get more information than you know what to do with.

If you are interested email me at info@fiddlersgreen.net

Anyone who is unclear on just what a wiki is can stroll over to the free "Wikipedia". Its here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Once a wiki is set up, the community adds articles, and is free to edit the articles once posted. The idea is that if enough people get involved, the process will become self-correcting: if you get a few facts wrong in your article, someone else will spot them and correct them for you.

.I'm geeky enough to be able to help, and I have access to quite a bit of Air Force history.

I'm also fourth generation Air Force (okay, great grandad was Army Signal Corps, but that counts!).
