Just got back from the International Paper Modelers Convention in Sterling VA. (Near Dulles Airport). Had a great time. The first time I've had to actually see other card modelers. Also got to meet Chip. :D Really a big gathering. Even flowed over into another meeting room. Lots and lots of visitors as well. I was really surprised. Lots and lots of models. 8) Only about half were aircraft. The other half were, trains, civil & military vehicles, including tanks, space and science fiction, lots of buildings, boats and ships, animals, flowers and plants. There was even a lady making FOOD card models. Give me a couple days and I'll post some pictures, as soon as I find what board I should post them on.

In the mean time....Here's "Da Man" himself

I think this one applies to this thread more appropriately:

" Customers are jade; merchandise is grass "

Back to normal programming...

Just to rehash this post, one should note that there has not been a SINGLE aircraft release in 2011 at all....Unless you are going to try to reach and declare the Flying Humvee or the DaVinci Aerial Screw an aircraft model...

So at this point, it is still my site suggestion-Get back to the aircraft already!!!!

WELL, I just got me some magic keys... I got the new Seagull "Flying Boat" model and that's not really what I expected. I'm excited for the "next" release, the herring gull, but after that, I have no idea. A great addition to the WWI tank collection would be the Sturmpanzerwagen Oberschlesien but there might not be enough info on that to do a model. Also, what about WWII tanks? The Panzer III is lookin a little lonely all by itself...why not put out a Sherman or a T-34 to keep the PzIII company? BTW, I'm really digging the armor kits.
