Not sure if this is the right section to put this in..anyway here goes.

The model was involved in a flight altercation between a penny and the ground. That's the reason the nose is screwed up.

The entire model was vectorized. I sent it to Chip. Hopefully he'll respond.

Just based off of experience, I can tell you what he's gonna say.

1: The detail ines and panel lines inside the part lines need to be lighter, and more subtle. I usually do them at 40% opacity.

2: Take the time to fix up any fit errors and improve the engineering.

3: Make it bigger. The days of cramming as much model on one sheet as possible are gone.

Thanks AZ.

1. I built it before shading panel lines. I intend to shade the BW model as much as I can without destroying it. I highlight and shadow using Color Dodge/Burn.

2. The engineering I believe was fine. I was using Elmers school glue and a blow dryer with scissors. That's why it looks crappy

3. I'm not sure exactly what to scale it to :?

Iceman,

Nice Redraw!

What are you using to "vectorize"?

Scale doesn't matter. What I do is take the biggest part, and make it fill a page. Look at the percentage increase that took, and scale everything else to that.

On the panel lines: if you're using Photoshop, what I usually do is draw them on a separate layer, and set the opacity to 40%. Saves on having to rego over with Dodge and hopping you don't cause too much dmage.

Ive had some trouble seeing the pictures too. They appear to be somewhat too large for my slower internet account. Could you make'em a bit smaller?

Thanks!

Appologies if this has been asked before- but what software program are you using for your redraws?

if you have some time ice, you might want to take a look at the wings. the outer panel doesn't fit really well into the center, and I don't think the outer panels are really symmetrical either. Looks great!

@Tim - Photoshop, baby!

@Cmdr - They're symmetrical, all right. However, I did fix that up a bit.

Still waiting to hear from Chip :?
