This repaint represents an F-100D of Escadron de Chasse 4/11 Jura, Djibouti 1978. The paint jobs on the planes in this unit were allowed to deteriorate to an amazing degree. As far as I can tell, the only parts that were touched up were the insignia and the shark mouth.

1) Note the two distinct squadron insignia;
2) I have tried to show a very weathered paint job;
3) the burned sections of the aft fuselage are somewhat sketchy, if you ask me;
4) the shark mouth is a bit tricky to get right;
5) I have PDFs that look better--the jpgs were a bit too large to upload, so I re-compressed.

That's a sweet repaint job! My only suggestion would be to not post a nearly full size picture of the model pages. Most folks around here are honest, but we don't want to give models away that Scott is charging for. Maybe put a water mark over the photo, or take a picture of the printed page form an angle instead of a screen shot. Just a thought. Nice job again!

That is a really good idea, Scott will probably update the model folders for free for those who have purchased them.
