Hi all

I guess it's obvious that I'm interested in card modelling and aerospace. :)

I got started via my main hobby - model rocketry. I saw a few guys that had made card rockets and converted them for flight. My first project was a Currell Graphics V-2 that I converted for flight. I've since built a few models, and through that I found myself here at FG. I'm currently working on the Delta 7 Columbia Shuttle, which seems to be much the same as the FG Discovery. After that, I'll build either the FG X-15 as a flying model, or the FG Me-262 for static display.

I usually try to make toys that I can play with afterwards, but there's so many nice models that I'm finding I like building just for the sake of it. I'm still a bit fumble fingered at times. I'm seriously in awe of the folks that design these models. A huge thanks for all the work that you put in. :)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Welcome Matthew! It's always a joy to have new folks join us here. I believe the FG shuttle is the same as the Delta 7 shuttle. If I'm correct, I think Delta 7 let FG use theirs. Anywho, we're glad you have joined us. Feel free to post some of your builds in the "Look What I Built" section. We ALWAYS like to oogle others' work.

Matthew-

Welcome! I built the Currell V-2 as a Static in December. I haven't launched in a couple years, was scratch-building scale air-to-air missles & Launching. Plan on getting back into it when I relocate to rural again.

Loadmat
