Yes, that is a great site indeed. I have both the X20 Dynasaur and the Gemini downloaded. Just waiting for the time to make them up.

I would love to give the Saturn V in 1/48th scale a try...but I suspect it would take me years to finish such a monster. I find it hard to maintain a level of interest in anyone model to finish it, if its going to take more than a week of late night after-the-kids-are-in-bed sessions.

Nice model of the Avrocar, I was going to upload a shot of the Western Canada Aviation Museums replica but I see you beat me to it.

Me again, with my X1. I am playing around with the options in "InfranWiew". I would highly recomend this litttle piece of software. Its free, and you can do some kool stuff with it. It can allow you to view just about any kind of picture, as well as do some basic editiing, touch ups, adding text, filters resizing...pretty much anything you want.

Tim ,

love the model of the Bell X1. Looks like a nice build.

I think I'll have to add that to my collection.

Ken :D

Hmmm.....looks like I'm going to have to fill out my profile a bit.

I was visiting friends in Winterpeg in Sept, first time I'd actually been there, with the exception of passing through the Air Movements Unit when I was in the Airforce.

I was in a craft store the other day when i spotted a big sheet of chrome cardboard. It was truley beutiful. I always wanted to try doing some paper models with metalic paper, but based of what others have said, it seems on those RedRiver Paper guys make the right kind.

I took a chance and bought the cardboard. The experiment was a failure. Inkjet ink just wont stick to it. I even tried spraying it with some fixer (basically varnish in a spray can) but it didnt help. Looks like I'm back to trying to figure out how to get that RedRiver paper without it trippleing in price the second it hits the US-Canada boarder.
