I got the digi-camera from work, so I was able to take some pics of my paper model of the "Norge".

I wanted to build it with the mooring mast that came with the model. After puzzeling over it I came up with the solution of sticking a cut down coat hanger into a block of wood, building the mooring mast around it, then bending the part sticking out the top to about a 45 degree angle. Then I just poked a small hole in the nose of the Norge and slipped it on. Now My Norge can float sereinly over my desk, apparently defying gravity. Its kinda kool...

If somebody could just let me know that those links work...?

Great model, as usual. Suspending it from the moring mast makes a great model even better. Share your technique with the world. My Eastern Airliines DC9 is fast approaching the point where it's buildable. Would you take a shot at it and QA my work?

here is a pic of my FG Dornier Arrow, off the wierd aircraft CD. For some reason, it took me ages to do. I got most of it done, then had to wait for insperation before I could get the final touches put on.

Here is a link to my blog on Comsimworld (its for wargamers- my other hobby). There you can see some pictures there I posted of two of Rob Carleens DC-9 beta builds

I played around a bit with the lighting to give some of the pictures a more dramatic effect.

This is a very nice build. Rob should be proud of this one!

Could someone just click on that link to make sure it works?

Pictures look good Tim...should have the exploded views and a USAF Medevac version finished for Chip soon. Thanks for the careful builds and feedback.

Here is a link to my blog with a few pics of the old 109. I'm giving this one to my nephew. He is 10, and hard to buy birthday presents for.

After building Robs beutefull DC9 with the wheel wells, I wanted to do the same with the ME109. It was easy- I just cut out the wheels drawn on the underside of the wings and then build some very slim boxes that *just* fit inside the wings and covered the cut out area.

What a great idea! I'm going to try this whenever I am planning on building landing gear. Thankyou Rob!

Like the wheel wells Tim, think I'll try that as well.

Here is my Mig-3. As you can see, I used RR Silver paper for the engine/nose.

I'll post some more pics later...these are fresh out of the camera. I would like to use Phtotshop to get the colours right.

The only modifications I did was to use the silver paper (I printed out the fusalage twice; once on sivlver, once of normal paper, then cut and glued the regular paper over the silver), added some wires cut from twisty ties into the propellers to give them a bit of depth, and carfully cut a round toothpick in half lengthwise and used that as the gun bulges. That last part may not be historically accurate, but I think it does look cool!

Slowly, over the summer hollidaze, I have been working on a Gemini spacecapsule. Its the one from Dan Shippy over at Delta7 Design. It makes a nice pairing with the one he did for FG of the Mercury7 capsule.

Hey, this build was easy. Dan Shippy has the most amazing set of instructions. Each step is detailed with a seperate picture! I just took me some time, as I had to squeeze it in in-between all the other summer happenings.

Here is another shot doctored up in Photoshop. Click the thumnail for the Big Picture.

Uh oh...I've lost astronaut Ed White!
