FG Mig-29 (Work-in-Progress)

I started on this about a week ago. Finally found the time to put the parts together (all 10 of them!) last night. Meh...looks OK- I got the nose cone on crooked, so I will have to try to fix that tonight. Also, I printed off the armament page for the Mig-21 and plan to add that to it; I like the overall look and colours of the Mig-29, but it needs some more detail. I'm hoping the missiles will do that.

Thanks!

Here is the finished version, with IR missiles stolen off the Mig-21, and a toothpick in the nose.

I havent been building much lately; too many other things gobbling up my time. But I did manage to build this over the hollidays

This isnt a FG model.

Its the Arado E.530 from DGA (Design Group Alpha). Its a design that was rejected by the Germans, but if it had been built, it might have looked something like this. I added in the cockpit, guns, and a few other parts. It was fun to build, and Turned out nice.

My thoughts exactly Bob.

The design was rejected in favor of a twinned version of the BF-109, which in turn was canceled after it took too long to design and build. you know, I'm thinking it might not take all that much effort to "twin" The FG BF-109. All you need is a center section for the wing and the tail, and you are good to go. Wikipedia even has a most excellent 3-view of it.

Dang! Now that I look at it, it appears to be a G version, so you would really have to redesign the nose too.
