Nice work Tim! The more 3D-ish engine really looks slick 8). What other kit(s) did you get the extra engine parts from?

Now I gotta build me one of those.

The engine is from the Mitsubishi Claude, and the crank case (or whatever you call it) rounded disk in the center was off of either the Northrop Gamma or the Boeing 40, I cant remember now which.

Superb!

As a matter of interest the colors are as authentic as I could make them, using Federal Standard color samples from a Federal Standard website (which I'd have to look up again or I'd put the link here).

I see it's time to petition Chip to provide an "accessories" set of models - engines at assorted scales, propellors, etc. Individual models already feature some of these but having them separately available would be handy. Something like "7 cylinder radial engine, 9 cylinder radial engine, two bladed constant speed propellor, three bladed constant speed propellor, 50 cal. Browning machine gun, etc. etc. I'll send him an e-mail.

I did something like this with cockpit interiors a couple of years ago, but it wasn't comprehensive.

Here is my repaint of the FG "ME-109E". Its a BF109D from the Spanish Civil War.

I still have work to do on the PDF. Once its done i will send it in and hopefully it will get uploaded to the 109 versions folder.

Doesnt look like it. I"ll send an email in a couple of weeks and see if can't be added. I'm sure Chip's son is overloaded with things to do at the moment and doesnt need me adding to the burden right now.

Tim that's a real nice 109 you built. Very clean. That's what really stands out. A person who care about what he does to the point to place it on display. You did a great job. Looking forward to adding it to my collection. I hope you will tell when that day is here. Thank you very much.

That 109 repaint of mine is finally available in the Messerschmidt Me-109 collection, if anyone is interested.

I built this at the begining of December but forgot to post images here!

Here is my JU-87. It took me about 6 months to finally getting around to finishing it!

Its a nice model and I really like the colouring. At first I planned on building it with those big anti-tank guns on the wings, but decided halfway through that I would build it as a basic dive bomber.

That is great Tim! It's a nice and clean build. Certainly much cleaner and smoother than mine. Bravo!

This isnt exactly a "repaint"...more like additional detailing.

Here is the Fiddlers Green F-100 of the Air Guard found in the versions folder. I added in a texture and gradient to the background, but left the markings and panel lines alone. Now I dont need to waste my precious Red River silver paper to get a metal finish on it!
