Here's a peek at my present design project
http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee24 ... PIC001.jpg
I was thinking of adding interior details and have stalled there.
but the gear are done, so could be built as is presently

I think its a fun and fairly quick build

That is a nice looking model, even though I have no idea what plane it is. The larger-than-life engines give that plane such a cool look.

Hey Niki good to hear from you. I thought the shapes and record of service for this plane were both very cool, as it served from before WWII until the 1970s in essentially unchanged form. It was one of grummans first amphibians, Gumman made a series of classic looking amphibs named for birds, the Wigeon, the Mallard and the more common Albatross, used by the US Coast Guard for many years. Most are rare today so may not be too many in your part of the world. Hope it turns out to be a fun build!!!

Looking forward to it, I built your S-39 a while ago, a fun good build, I want to build the S-38 but work is a bit hectic at the moment. Can't wait for your newest creation.

This looks like a fun build. Dare I say "cute"? Or is that too un-manly? :D

Cute is a suitable word when used in the correct context, I want to build it now!

Sorry Niki missed your kind post, I can't take credit when not due, though the S-39 was designed independant of the s-38 completly by chance that Mauri Luiso of Spain had designed the s-39 at the same time I was working on the s-38! Neither of of was aware!

NICE job, Birder! I've always wanted a Goose...a real one. I think it's one of the most beautiful, practical aircraft ever designed. Any of you old enough to remember "Tales of the Brass Monkey" on TV? Ooooh, careful what information you give away, Lep!

Birder,
Great subject. You mentioned interior - a weakness of mine - just can't seem to build any of the F.G. goodies without scratch-building an interior and the "glass".
