Yes, the BT-9 is made from an old and not entirely accurate model. An improved version would be awesome.

Saw this pop up on the FG homepage, and since the P-35 is one of my all time favorite birds, I couldn't resist.

Stock build for the most part, only modification was a little trimming on the upper air scoop, it's a tad long.

Haven't yet calculated the scale, but it's about 5" (12.7cm) long, with a wingspan of about 7" (17.75-ish cm).

That stand is my favored method of using a bit of spare wire bent in to shape, seems to work well.

It looks great! Tim's repaint came out very well, and you did a great job building. It's good to see you building some more.

Thank Willy. And yes, I have been getting the itch to build more... we'll see if I can't find more time this week.

Hey, somebody built it! Looks great. :D

You should post those pics over on the papermodeler forums too; it might generate some sales.

You definitely built a winner with that P-35. To see the finished product always does one of two things to me. The first one is to give me the determination to build that model or two makes me sit in my chair and wonder when I am ever going to build that model. Procrastination has it's way with me on many things.

Good job!

That really came out nice. Beautifully clean build, and a terrific recolor. Well done!
