It's a pretty simple model. The hardest part in my opinion is attaching the engines/wing fairings to the fuselage. It's not too hard, just have to be patient.

Hey everyone. I have decided against doing the P-80 right now I've started the Grumman Duck. I've got the fuselage done and will be posting some pictures tonight.

Here are some pics of two builds.

This is an older build, about my third that has survived.

That's a nice looking C-47 and Duck. Can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks for reminding me to finish my C-47 repaint btw :D

Yep, those are both nice. I've been thinking of doing the Greasy Three for a while now; I may have to bump it up in the cue.

I got frustrated with my Duck model, couldn't get the wing pontoons formed correctly.................Big fingers. So I put it aside and made the P-51. first one I've made with the gear down.

The photos are here:

Not too shaby :D The Mustang looks good! Keep plugging on the Duck. It's a very neat model when finished. I too am afflicted with massive finger tips. It get in the way playing guitar too

You took the words right out of my mouth, WWII! This is the exact same P-51 I tried. Nice model jzman1969, and the landing gear looks great. Please persevere with your Duck, I'd love to see it finished.

Thanks for all the good comments folks and WWII the nose plate was small, if you notice on the front view pics there is some white showing under the prop, what was showing on the top I tried position the spinner so it cover it.

On to the other reason for this post, I started my new project yesterday the Me-109 the first pics can be viewed here:

Lookin' good so far! I love that colour scheme. Relieved to know that I wasn't the only one who had problems with the P-51 nose too .
