A legacy from my time at the Virtual Aerodrome, where it was quite a popular thing to do. I can't promise that I will post progress pictures here of all my builds, but I will certainly let you see photos of every one of my completed models.

Not much more to do now:-

I decided to add a short length of wire to strengthen the landing gear struts.

Just some miscellaneous little bits and pieces to add and some finishing off, then she's done. Pictures soon!

Chris...I have baen a member for over 2 years. Haven't posted much but I check out the forums everyday. Your Ju 88 is one of the best examples of FG builds I have seen. I believe you have raised the bar for us all. Great Job.I am inspired.....Bill from Ocean Isle Beach(OIBBILL).

Nice...very nice.

I would be surprised if your 88 didnt make POTW.

What did you end up using for the guns?

Gentlemen, thank you. Your kind words and encouragement are much appreciated :).

Tim, the machine guns are just short lengths of wire (the same I used to strengthen the landing gear with), coloured black with a Sharpie. Quite effective, I think .

AWESOME!!!Now i'm afraid to build this thing. I'm pretty sure I won't get it that nice. On our previous discussion on clear canopy, I broke down and bought the thermal form transparent film  I'm up for the punishment of trying it sometime. Hopefully soon. Great job again. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Thanks willygoat, but judging by your recent twin Mustang, B-52, and Shuttle builds you should have absolutely no fears about the Ju-88! Good luck with it when it's your turn :).

I hope to get to it soon. Of course, school's out in 5 weeks. Then I should have substantially greater hours to build. You have definately set the bar high for the Ju-88.
