I have recently gotten a facination for building these card models basically to see how easy they would be to upscale for RC Foam construction here are a couple pics of the ones I have plans to convert.

nice builds!!! There have been a lot of FG models converted for R/C. I've seen probably 4 or 5 in Model Aviation magazine in the last year or so. How big are you looking to go?

Willigoat I am planing on a 50" wing span that is usually about the size I like to build. not so little you loose it in the air and not so big that you cant load it in a car. :)
thanks oribill I will post pics once I get started with the builds here is a pic of my Corsair that I almost have ready for her maiden.
Image she is still needing her war paint.

Mike,
Do you make your planes out of solid foam, or do you use really thin sheets and bend them over formers?

BTW, your Corsair looks marvelous :D

the wings and fuse are 6MM depron and the tail feathers and formers are 9 MM
I also have one of these corsairs that I am building with $Tree redi board with the paper peeled off it is 4.5MM thick.
here is a link to my RCG blog page where I have started an instructional blog on the Corsair and a couple of my other unfinished builds.
