That A7 model was my first attempt at design--the F100 the next. Before I designed the A7, I redrew that TF9J from the FG F9F-8. BTW I actually flew in the rear seat of VT-26's F-9's for two years in the late 60's. My final squadron was VA-86 (mid 1980's)--the original A7 version. I started out redrawing and designing because I wanted planes that represented the types and units I (or some of my friends) served with Glad you like them. Thanks for the nice builds. I'm out of the dedsign business for the time, as I have two real restoratiojn projects going on currently--an SBD and an F6f.

Very nice build!

I made this one up soon after it was first released. Rob did a fabulous job designing and colouring it. IIRC, I made mine without the wingtip tanks. I may have to go back and make it again with the tanks, as yours looks so very good with them.

That's a great looking Hunter! I'd imagine that the spine piece would have been a pain to curve and glue. It's so tiny!

Thank's Willy!

The spine is a hard piece to curve. I use a thiny and long needle to made and obtain the shape.
