Time for a new thread and challenge. Let's see what kind of imagination we have out there. By using a Cub model let's see what kind of variations that our modelers can come up with, such as on floats, skis, twin engine, etc. Only stipulation is that it has to be a Fiddlers Green Cub Model. Use your imagination to create a model real or imaginary. My first entry will be the All-Terrain equipped Cub I had seen in Iowa.

Oh, I like this idea! Was that plane at the Iowa Aviation Museum in Greenwood?

I like the cut-back. Was that a real modification?

The Cutback Cub was one used in Ag Spraying. There are only a few photos on line if you search. I have a DVD of Cutbacks spraying that I bought on-line.

One of my old time favorite aircraft and the source of many new swear words as well. One day I have to revisit this model. Excellent work. Very, very nice work. wc

I'm embarking on a fun one. WAY out there! Hope to finish in a day or two. Of course, I'm building it big, so it may take a while longer.

Here is my Super Sportsman Lakemaster Cub.

I joined two of the regular size new Cubs. I took an extra piece of wing to make the center wing section, and joined two elevator pieces for the tail structure. I cut one in half and added the halves to the outside of the tail booms.

I also created a special set of yokes to hold the pilot's favorite canoe. I had to add a catch on the tail to keep the canoe from sliding out, but it can be removed when not flying with the canoe for improved aerodynamics. Ha! Like this plane is concerned with aerodynamics!

Enjoy

Nice job, lovin' the floats. Great idea for carrying the canoe. Let's see if others get the Cub Bug.
