Hope you like this one. A few minor imperfections I can live with. For the longest time I would not show anyone but family and a few friends what my models looked like. I always, and I still do, feel a bit of unease because my models are built for pleasure and not contests, so my models can't compare to people whose skills are out of this world. I can take up to anywhere from a few days to months before I finish a model. I get sidetracked, or I burn out a little, because I come up against a problem that I need time to think how to fix. Main problems I have are the wings and how to fit them unto the fuselage. Hence one of my little areas that is not all that great, but it still makes me happy to build. Enjoy!

Wow! You've got nothing to be ashamed of here. That's one of the finest Spit models I've seen. That is one of the older hand-drawn models, and you have down it great justice for sure.

The above four models are all nice clean builds, you have done well. Now where's that Albatros ;)

Thanks for all the compliments. I am nearing completion on the Albatros, it has been slow work. I have done more scratch building on this kit, than I have even done on plastic models. I am straight out of the box type of builder, but this Albatros screamed for extras. I don't know where to stop though with the extras. I think I will add the clips for the bullets for sure to complete the guns. I am thinking of cutting the flaps for a more realistic look also. So much to do, little time to do it in. Shouldn't be too much longer (knock on wood) before it is ready to fly the skies.
