I built the stand out of Balsa to hold up the jet. Was going to put wheels on the stand, but looked good stationary. I left off the dome that covers the rockets. I want to use some type of clear dome, but can't find one that is close to fitting. So left the paper one off. The bottom picture of the Natter looks pretty good at this angle.

Sweet! I see you did a marvelous job on getting the petal nose cones of the rocket booster rounded smoothly. I can't get them smooth for anything.

One suggestion for the clear nose cone. Build the paper nose cone and put the tabs on the outside. This gives a smoother inner surface. Then, fill the nosecone with Sculpey, or some other modeling clay that is either an air harden, or oven bake harden variety. You can then lightly sand the clay plug smooth, and then use it as a form for plastic. I generally use bubble packaging as it takes shape well and doesn't require a ton of heat. Just use a heat gun (low setting) or a candle to heat the plastic. When it gets soft and sags, smash it down over the clay plug (raise the plug up off the table for easier molding). After a few tries, you should have something like you're looking for.
