This beast was built by one of the Horten brothers, which explains why it looks like a pregnant Horton 229. It was built in Argentina and flew a few times in 1960. It was supposed to be a transport aircraft... :shock:

It has that weird Horten front landing gear. They all had those things. Just makes me uneasy looking at it for some reason.

Ugly is the right word. All the more so when you compare it to the clean elegant lines of the HO/GO 229 it was based on.

And I know what you mean about that front landing gear. From the wrong angle it gives it a kind of insect like creepiness.

It looks like a green leaf hopper or maybe
a cicada.
But kinda cool 8)

Creepy but I bet it flew better than the American flying wing bomber of the 40's.
