Can some one ID this aircraft for me? A close friend use to fly it. I would ask him but that's not possible any more. Thank you for any help you guys can offer. wc

Thank you Coach, now I have something to go off of. I have been away from the key board for a couple of days. Migraines you know. I'm still work on the shuttle so work might be slow but it's still going on. Today I am using your method close the pedal nose of the shuttle. I have also tried a cotton ear cleaner by soaking it in the white glue and forming the nose around it. When it did dry I colored it with Prismacolor water color pencil ( WC2901-Indigo Blue) and instead of wetting the tip with water I tried alcohol. Huge difference but I wouldn't want to do a large area. The color is a lot more richer I think but it uses up the color of the pencil a lot faster. Let me know you you have tried this idea before please. BTW, I noticed that in our members listing that I was unable to find Aaron log there. Is there a reason he never joined us here at FG? wc

Can't say I've ever tried the alcohol trick. Might have to give that a go.

I did try a little bit on the Challenger conversion. I have a bit of work to get the wing texturing right around the lettering.

Speaking of the Challenger. On the science channel they have a 2 hour movie with William Hurt who I just can't watch enough of a great movie on just what happened and how there was a cover up or a fail attempted at it. Hurt play a scientist who is ask to help find the answers and he did. Our wonderful government in action. If you haven't seen it I can't recommend it enough. I would have to give this at least 4 out of 5 stars but then I really enjoy seeing Mr. Hurt acting. He was in the movie "The Host" that I went on and on about. Another great movie that can be shared with the family. After all, it is a love story. What is this I hear, the wad cutter watched and loved a love story. Yes that's correct and had to really work on my wife to watch it with me. I guess it's a whole new side of me. Anyway, something to pass the time with on these cold winter nights when no one should be out side. Even out here it's been cold. I think yesterday it almost got up to mid 40's or there abouts. Man, that was a cold one. wc
