Regarding clues and airplanes, as the game's originator I have no objection to obscure airplanes - that biplane Hurricane was identified pretty quickly - but I would like to encourage clue sets that are non-ambiguous. For example, "Fixed gear, twin 50s, fabric covered ailerons" would be a terrible clue set because it could apply to more than one airplane. Perhaps I should change the name from "Guessing" Game to "Deducing" Game because I don't find guessing in the dark all that interesting.

Personally, I found Lep's clue set of

Single- engine twin prop, Catapult launch, unusual pilot position

for the Wright Flyer the best entry in the game so far: clues that subtly implied something modern, but positively and unambiguously identified the Wright Flyer, certainly one of the most well known airplanes of all time. That was 10 out of 10 for clever, and for my money should serve as THE example for what I'd intended with the game.

But I don't want to get overly strict, or critical, because, so far, every airplane has been identified without excessive fuss, and the MAIN idea is to enjoy the game.

I know it's Nikki's turn, but if he passes, I want to give it a try. I have a good one in mind.
(of course, if he wants to take his turn, then i'm keen to guess)

Tim, if you don't mind Rob taking a turn, that's OK, but we'll need at least one more clue because the set supplied apply equally to the Phantom, Tomcat and Vigilante, just to name 3 off the top of my head.
