I suffered through this 1963 Elvis film about Mike and Danny who fly a crop duster, but because of Danny's gambling debts, a local sheriff seizes it. Trying to earn money, they hitch-hike to the World's Fair in Seattle. While Danny tries to earn money playing poker, Mike takes care of a small girl, Sue-Lin, whose Uncle Walter has disappeared. Being a ladies' man, he also finds the time to court a young nurse, Diane. Can you name it?

Just saw bits and pieces of this the other day, "It happened at the World's Fair", with Elvis Presley in all his glory.

If I remember rightly, a very young Kurt Russell kicks Elvis in the shin in this picture.

Saw another movie today. This 1955 movie stars Alan Ladd and June Allyson in the only movie they made together. It's about Mac's plans to settle down and raise a family which are upset by the Korean War. He goes as a fighter pilot and returns a hero, the first triple ace of the war. Name the movie.

The above movie was called "The McConnell Story." I found a 1942 British film directed by and starring Leslie Howard as R.J. Mitchell, the designer of the Supermarine Spitfire, alongside co-star David Niven. What was the British Title of the Film?

The American release was "Spitfire" and the British release was called "The First of a Few."

Next film to identify is this 1947 movie with Van Johnson as a navy pilot in WWII, who has been shot down in the Pacific on a bombing mission. He and a wounded comrade are the only survivors of the mission and are lost at sea. As they await rescue, Van Johnson recants his life's story and romance with girlfriend, June Allyson. Can you name it?

This one should be easy. A 1967 film featuring the lines "Number two, Sir!" and "Which one of you guys wants to be a general?."

This 1939 documentary film from Alexander Korda's for the British war effort shows the world both at peace and on the verge of Nazi domination. Spliced together to form a documentary style film of both newsreel and acting. This first of its kind in propaganda films of World War II, shows the might of the English Empire and its eagerness to stand up to the oppressors of morality and free will. Crude but effective propaganda cinema that sets the tone for things to come. With its stiff upper lip attitude that pays tribute to the nations prides and shows the black plague of Nationalism spreading across Europe that England shall be motivated, ready and willing to retaliate. Can you name it?

Here is a hard one to comtemplate. This 1925 silent movie actually bankrupt the studio and did not complete it's run in the theaters. Billed as the greatest film of Larry Semon's career, it was just the opposite being hated by both the critics and the audiences that did see it. Stars Dorothy Dwan, Charles Murray and an early Oliver Hardy. The story line is about a Toymaker who tells a bizarre story about how a land was ruled by Prince Kynd, but he was overthrown by Prime Minister Kruel. Can you name the film?
