No love for the Russians? Lavochkin anyone?

The graceful wing tips, short round vert stabiliser and the gentle taper from round front to narrow tail. Not to mention the quirky undercarriage doors...

That's an interesting bird. Kind of a conglomeration of a P-40, Fw-190, and Spitfire

I think the Hughes H-4 Hercules (the "Spruce Goose") was a pretty good looking aircraft for a Plane of its size. Mind you, it was only flown once.
