Got it! Send me a PM with your real E-mail address and I'll send you the USS Harry S Truman, CVN 75, tomorrow. You'll need RAR. Anyone else? Same deal...

I have been working on a pirate ship. when i do get it done. i'll submit it to chip for his approval. it will probably end up in the misc. models folder, and be offered for free but who knows? we will see how he like it when it's ready.

Hi All,

As a newby, I don't know how much weight my opinion may make, but yeah, ships would be a happenin' thing from my point of view. Having spent a young fortune on kits from Eastern Europe that all seem to have instructions in either Polish, Czech or Russian, it would be refreshing to find some on the site with good old Fiddlers Green style instructions and history tossed in. As to size constraints, 1/200 offers lots of possibilities for up detailing, ease of construction for smaller ships and still be printed out on a few pages. Things from Destroyer sizes on down would all fall in that category and you could even toss in some 1/100 scale ones for the even smaller patrol boats, rescue craft and other small craft like civilian fishermen, work boats and pleasure craft. I am sure that a bass boat or two would even become hot sellers if one could get by without bumping heads with corporate trademarks or patented names, those could get real expensive real fast. Okay, I will get off my soap box and go back to cyberspace now.;)
