Here's a neat little homebuilt I would love to see a model of, the Taylor Coot, designed by the same man who brought you the Aerocar, this design could be considered a little more successful, as around seventy of these are known to have been constructed so far.

Yeah, she's an amphibian. What really attracts me to the design is the way Taylor used the wing sponsons as the floats, negating the need for wingtip floats. Can't remember where I saw it but out there on the net somewhere is a really nice bow on shot of one in the water that really shows off the cracefull look of the plane and hides the ugly duckling parts.

I've allways wanted to try my hand at a homebuilt, and I think I may have found a new aircraft to consider!
