Hey all,
I decided to try the storied Stearman this weekend. All has gone well up until I got to attaching the top wing. The large supports at the end of the wings go on well, but the shorter supports from the fuselage to the wing don't even come close to reaching. Did I do something wrong?

I thought that maybe I butchered them, but I didn't. I ended up taking some thin balsa scrap and making the supports. It turned out ok. Nothing worth posting a pic of though.

I was contacted by Chip to look into the strut problem. Yep they were short. The problem has been fixed. I sent the fixed models to him today. Look for the updates in your folders soon.

Yup. Don't be a sour old #%$^&@ like me. I'm still so frustrated by that P-51 I had to do a tank to get it out of my system.

hehe, well, the Stearman is hanging up in my classroom at school. Like I said, I'll have to do another one sometime.

You're right Lep, you are sour  You never did put any pics of what your trouble was with the Mustang did you? I like that one. It's a nice quick build. The only problem I encountered was that the landing gears are too long.

Nothing, Bill. I think I just got tired of the project and soured on it. Mind set will spoil anything. Working on a WWI MkIV tank in 1/160 (N gauge)right now. It's going well. Going for a maintenance diorama.
