I started one of the new Albatros DVa models recently but came across a problem - the two halves of the cross on the tail sections don't match up! They're a little bit 'high' on both sides of one of the parts, meaning there's nothing I can do to even things up. I've tried two versions so far and they've both been the same. I really wanted to build this but I think I'm gonna have to give it a miss now. Anyone else have this problem?!

Hey C D.. I have started the Red Baron version and did not have a problem with the cross match up. The 3rd section did not fit very well. (too big) but I was able to correct that ok. I did cut off the tabs, but I don't see where that would affect the alignment. Bill

What models did you try. I did the repaints and can go back, recheck them, and fix what's needed.

Its just a thought, but can you enlarge the cross enough so that it will cover the defects, then print it out onto regular paper, cut it out, and glue it over the offending mis-match?

That's an idea I suppose Tim - good thinking! I'll see what Duane comes up with first though.

The BW was a little off. I fixed it and all the repaints. They have been sent to Chip. I would give him a day or so to get them posted in the folders. Veltjens does not have the cross on the tail section so that one is good.
