Instructions on Sheet 3 say to bend down the 8 internal tabs of the Base and glue the Tread wheel up from the bottom.
There are no slots on the tread wheel to match the 8 tabs. Are the 8 tabs to be bent at 90 degrees and then the bottom edges glued to the tread wheel?
Are the 8 tabs to be bent 180 degrees and the tread wheel glued to them to give a slight depression from the base?

Neither of these alternatives sound right. What am I missing here?

Brol44,
I don't have the model directly in front of me, but I've looked it over a few times. I believe the tabs in question act as a gluing surface on the inside of the base/wheel. That is generally how all FG models go. There is no slot for the tabs. They usually go under or behind as a gluing surface. Does that help?

Again, I'm not looking at it right now. Anyone else have thoughts?

Willygoat,
Thanks for the reply. The Tread wheel is larger than the opening at the center of the base and there are no obvious places to glue the 8 tabs to the Tread wheel. It is not possible for the tabs to go under or behind the Tread wheel.
