I’m trying to build the Piper Cub J-3. I thought it would be a very easy build so this is my first model. Well I’m stuck. First of all I’m guessing for the most of it. I started with the wings. Screwed up twice so far. I glues the trailing edges together first. Then the little slit on the top of the wing with the flap glued and tucked under and then the wing tip. Where I’m going wrong or getting lost at is how the wing and the center section comes together. I cut out the window in the center of the wing center section. I did a tight fold at the one end which is marked fold and glue. At the other end is a half circle which is marked (Top) and Glue. I can’t put this together in my minds eye. I have to stop and ask myself am I that stupid? Maybe I should have started with another plane that is easier. Then comes the question “have I gotten myself into the right hobby?”
