I doing a model of the Flying Jeep and getting to the point where I have to put the wheels together. Is there any easy way to glue them together?

I know that I have to curl the tread first and then glue one side. My concern is gluing the second side in place.

I have been using the system layed out for the Monocuope. The link for that page is here:

This makes for very sturdy wheels. I dont see why the same idea cant be used for any size wheel you want. Check it out. You could do worse...and in fact I already have... many times!

:D The same idea can be applied to more than just wheels. WW1 rotory engines from FG models for instance.

How about fuselage ribs to strengthen the structure. These don't have to be circular; could be oval or even near rectangular with round corners. Use the cross section drawings from the model as a template.
