Hi Guys and Gals,
Thought I would try the Smock Windmill model.
IT HAS NO INSTRUCTIONS :?: :?: :?:
If there are some, I don't have them.
SO,,,
I built it viewing a picture I found on the listing page.
Built the large size.
I made it so the blades turn.
And colored the backs of the blades to make it look a bit better.
Even my helper CALLIE had to give it a taste.
Go figure,,, my helpers love paper and have to try every model I build.
Enjoy the pictures,
and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all you paper modelers out there.
Best Regards,
Gary

Very nice wind mill musicman. The colors are perfect. Any chance you can post the build in the forum in case some one else would like building one? Great job. wc

Would like to Wad_cutter,,,
But I did not think of doing a picture build thread when I built it.
Guess I was just trying to get it built the best way I could myself at the time.
Maybe if we ask Scott if there are any instruction files for this model in the F.G. files.
He might be kind enough to put them in with the listing.
That way others will be able to get them when they purchase this little treasure.
As it is,,,
It's not that hard to build,,,
and to make it so the blades turn, all I did was mount them onto a
long wood q-tip stick and do paper windings on each side of the blades.
like I do for a prop,,, only larger.
Kept the stick long enough to go through the model and mount the piece on
the back side of the top.
Used a brown sharpie to color the back side of the blades too.
Just take your time and have fun with it.

Thanks Possm.
Sure is fun to try one once in a while without the instructions available.
Guess that's why I have my helpers.
Couldn't have done it without them. ( HE HE ) PURR PURR :D

My favorite is the one with the cat. If you take pictures of it while you are building it, and then explain the steps you went through, then I can put together a tutorial for it like we did for the Chester Goon model.

That turned out great! Nice work. You should really make sure that your paper doesn't include catnip next time. :o
