The hoist and engine hauler is on a F. G. disc. There are engines there all so but no jet engines. Is there a jet engine some where that would work with these. Is the F-80 coming out with an engine separate from the plane.

The FG F-80 is coming out soon, in 1/31 scale, along with a partial engine (no accessory section) and the cranes, etc. You'll have to get the DGA version (same engine and support gear in 1/48) to get the entire engine.

I bought the DGA F-80 and it appears the "engine" included with that model does not have the forward compressor section. I believe the aft section of the engine can be mounted in the model to show a version undergoing maintenance, but it is not a "full" model of the engine if that is what you are seeking...

Just checked my copy of the DGA P_80 and there are optional bits to create the entire engine, as shown on the parts page.
