Hey all I am fairly new to this hobby and only have a few builds under my belt (three completed) and many more crash and burns from an inexperienced three year old pilot......lol, the latest being a B-24 I was working on. Anyway my current project is the A7 Corsair. Here are some pics

Any suggestions on building this or just general pointers are always welcome.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Fiddler's Green :D Your A-7 looks pretty nice so far. You got the nose cone petal shape waaaaay better than I did when I first started. Keep it up!

Thank You all, I will be posting more as it progresses. I haven't decided if I want the landing gear out or not.

i found that the fuselage can be a bit tricky but it looks like you got that
under control.

So far so good.

Do you have a nice set of Sharpies yet? A good set of felt pens are a must. Sharpies are very good, as they dont bleed too much and will "stick" to both paper and glue without smearing.

You can use them to fill in white edges. Use a black one on the nose and those pedal lines would disappear.

It's finished. There is a small issue though, the insignia on one side does not line up correctly yet the other side does, as you can see in the pics.

I didn't notice this until it was all together.

The insignia is annoying, but a small thing when you look at how well you did over all. Great work!

yes it is a small thing, but still would like it to match up a little better.

Don't worry about the insignia, it looks fine. I've been building paper models for several years now and I still have trouble getting everything to line up. That's why I've started to do more dry-fitting.

Thank You again for your comments. Now on to the next project, I'm thinking about doing the new P-80, but it looks a bit looks a bit challenging, don't know if I'm up for that one yet.
