Fiddlers Green

Since Chip and Anne like to travel to cool places (and I mean summer comfortable temps) you may enjoy modeling the buildings (Cabins, Barns, Churchs, Mills and more) around the Cades Cove loop road in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. http://www.cadescove.net/ Camping is availble at the Cades Cove Campground. Also additional buildings are to be seen at the John Rice Irwin Museum of Appalachia in Norris Tn which is not too far away. http://www.museumofappalachia.com/ Sorry, no lighthouses.

This is my home and my ancestors home. We are proud Scots who fled the defeat of Charles to the new world and found a similar home in the western NC mountains (now Tennesse) in the 1750s. These mountains make a mans soul soar.

Cade's Cove is very scenic, and the old buildings would be a perfect fit into the collection. Just watch out for the deer and bears that abound in the area.
