Took my Mig 3 and replaced the prop with a Prop disk.
Did some work with it on gimp, and placed it with a picture
of a piper I took at the local air strip.
Just having some fun. :)

Nice one!

Gimp is very kool. The only reason I dont use it is because I already have Photohsop and I dont want to "unlearn" everything I know how to do in that just to learn the Gimp.

OK,,,
Here is a picture I received in an e-mail from a friend in Japan.
He collects very old balloon, and war art.
Took one of my Post card Bi-planes and put a small prop disk on it.
Did the photo editing thing, and added it to the cropped picture.
Hope you enjoy it.
Kinda like, (where's Waldo) for a Post card model. 8)

That looks great! It took me quite a while before I spotted the model.

I"ve done that sort of thing a few times, but I have to have the right model and the right picture. It can be hard to crop out all the background.

Lookout! there is a new GimpMaster in town!

Hey Tim,
Thanks for the comment, but I'm a far cry from being a gimp master.
The only thing I know how to do is what you see.
(And, having fun with it so far) :)
But I am willing to learn more.
PLEASE :!: let me know if there are any willing teachers out there.
Would like to learn to do paint jobs on models.
I'm sure I will have to puhrchase a Wacom tablet to work with
to do better detail on coloring.
I've done everything with the mouse so far. 8)

You did a great job with that last picture. It was difficult at first to spot which one it was you'd added!
