IIt fits right in with trying to find historic planes. Plus, it looks kinda nice too. Besides, if we have a V-1, we need a Gloster Meteor.

AA Meteor, yes, please! But which one?

You need an F1 to tip over those V1's. The F3 was the common early version (see photo - I think), whilst the F8 had shorter span wings. What about an NF14 or trainer with the long nose and rather dated looking canopy?

About your Duxford photos. I knows it well, its my local air museum! The hanger is nearly as interesting as the Meteor. It was built in 1915 and has a wooden truss girder roof structure.

Next door is the American Air force museum, which is kind of a up-turned pudding basin of a building with a segment of the basin cut off and glazed in on the airfield side. The rest of the basin/building is kind of sunken down into the ground and grassed over so you can hardly see it from the road side. Not bad considering its go a B52 inside plus just about every other USA plane to serve in Europe from 1915 -2000., including a DC3 hanging from the roof!

The main Duxford hanger is currently being rebuilt and all the bigger planes are outside for the summer.

AJD

WWell, how about all of them? If they're all somewhat common, you could release them as one big package (and charge more for it, too  ). Of course, if you told me that the Meteor in the pic was the N-87 version, I would probablly believe you. Anyway, if there is a limit on versions, I'd put the F1 as my first choice (to go with the V-1) and the NF14 as my second choice. Maybe release them both, as the upcoming P-80/TV-2.

- don't plan on releasing the P-80 and T-33 as a single unit. There was enough variation (and history) betweeen the two to warrant a separate model. The Silver Star is currently being completed, with three versions so far planned...team effort between myself and a couple friends. You're gonna really like what you see...when it arrives. If you don't already have your RR silver paper...best get hot and getcha some. Build a few models with it to get used to it's unique charactaristics. This model screams for it.

Someone else recently put out a nice F3 in 1:48, along with three Loon varients of the V-1. We could slill use an F1 and a Vampire.

Howzit

FG is definitely in need of some more British jets, a meteor, vampire and a canberra would go perfectly with the latest release, the Hawker Hunter.

Niki

BTW I've a nice 3-view of the canberra, very straight forward design, no major challenges, I'd do it if I had time but university exams call.
