I opened one of my western town buildings in Photoshop to change the scale. The building appears to be in HO or 1:82 scale. I need it in 30mm or 1:50 scale. Well, the easy part is that I need to enlarge the building 82/50 or increase 164%. I could increase the image, but then it won't fit on the paper. I can't seem to select pieces and move them. Using Illustrator doesn't help. Should I use a different program? My Photoshop/Illustrator are older.
To make buildings look marvelous on a tabletop, for railroad or game use, I like to print at least two copies, mount one on mat board cut it out and make the bones of the building. I then cut out window and door frames and glue them over the base to give some depth. Sometimes I cut the windows out completely and add clear plastic. With the cost of ink, it is much more effective to make extra copies of the small parts rather than make multiple copies of the whole model.
Thanks for the help.
