Now that we have the S-55, can the S-58 be that far behind? I seem to remember a television show back in the late 70's featuring a pink one, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

The TV show was called "Riptide"( I saw the boxed DVD set this morning). The S-58 is on the schedule, but we're gonna take a break from helicopters for a while, and work on something easier, whatever comes to mind. Next are the AD-1 scissor wing, the Nazi X-plane that inspired it, then the Steerman biplane. After that..... maybe some gliders.

RIPTIDE! Thanks, that was driving me crazy.

I'll be looking forward to the S-58. Of course, I'm always looking forward to whatever is going to show up on Fridays now.

Aaron, you want something easier, how about a Gloster Meteor and the English Electric Canberra? Both are simple, straightforward designs (50's/60's aircraft are the best) and are crying to be on the FG model lists.

Don't just make the Brit version of the Canberra that the RAF, RCAF, RAAF, SAAF, RNZAF and Luftwaffe flew. Come up with the other canopy design that was built into the Martin licensed B-57 version too.

Chuck Yeager was a B-57 wing commander in his final active service in Vietnam.

I agree with airforce, the two different canopy versions of the canberra would be awesome, the large domed version and the off-set fighter style canopy. BTW the SAAF used canberra's with both canopy styles. Nice repaint options for me. :D :D

It all depends on what Chip wants, (something about being the boss). He tells me what he wants, I give him the model the next day (after about 18 straight hours of work). Neither of us are in the mood for bombers of fighters right now, though. We just had an idea of doing a series of American X-planes and the Nazi planes that inspired them, i.e. the Ames-Dryden AD-1 Scissorswing, and the Messerschmitt Me P 1109 Scissorswing. Although Chip has a lot of glider models he wants to have ready by the convention in November.
