I believe that a slate of sailplanes/gliders are in the next "batch" being released over the next few weeks.

We've got a series of sailplanes on tap right now, but following that are the P-80 and then the Sikorsky S-39

An S-39. now that's a unique bird, nice one Aaron. How about a PBY-5A Catalina sometime soon? Now that would be awesome.

We were just discussing that this morning. Maybe even start up a 'seaplanes' CD.

Seaplanes cd... now that's an idea. You might even want to chuck in some WIG (wing in ground effect) aircraft, there are some unique birds out there, but the PBY5A Catalina first.

I'd love to have a PBY Catalina. Slow but reliable, some flew as firefighters here in western us even in recent memory.

Flew operationally in Canadian service long after war as the "Canso" didn't they? I'd like to suggest the Shagbat as one of the candidates, too.

In RCAF service until the late 50's at least, and were replaced by the Grumman Albatross. I'd like to see the Catalina/Canso as well.

Take a look at http://www.marcle.co.uk/ - they've got free downloads of Bv138 & Bv238 in the lastest editions of their "Cutting Remarks" newsletter.

Kancho has a free downloadable catalina on his web site.

http://kancho.muncho.org/old_free.html

It's a fully framed model that has to be "skinned," but it looks gorgeous!
